Sharpe Decision

I wrote to you when the Sharpe case was before the Supreme Court of Canada. I asked that the federal government intervene in this matter and consider invoking the notwithstanding clause of the Charter to override legal decisions that do not recognize nor combat child pornography. Certainly, the restriction of individual freedoms guaranteed under the Charter is justifiable when those limitations protect the most vulnerable of Canadian society – its children.
